Day 144: Golf Carts, Smores, Campfires OH MY!

Today after work, Steven and I gather our stuff, Bailey and her things, and headed out to the campground for a night or relaxing and fun! We were almost there when we realized we didn't have her portable kennel for her to sleep in! It ended up being OK but I was of course worried about it! We got to Mom and Dad's camper in time to help get supper ready--yummy burgers on the grill. We then just sat around the nice campfire, Jenna made some SMORES and we enjoyed the night--a little chilly but the fire made it just right. Our camping neighbor brought over some stuff to throw in the fire that makes it different colors. It was pretty neat and some good hearted fire competition began to see who had the best fire! We finished the night going on the trails in the golfcart--some tree branch slaps and bumps on the road later, we ended back at the camper to head to bed! Bailey slept on a blanket on the floor with her leash tied to the table so she wouldn't go too far and she did just fine! I'm sure Mom is happy she didn't have any accidents in her new camper!
